Co-Designing Family-Centred Palliative Care: A Participatory Approach to Strengthening Paediatric Palliative Care Across Diverse Context

By uniting children, families, clinicians, and policymakers in a structured workshop process, the study assesses a novel mechanism to develop CPC interventions that are cultural acceptable, child- and family-driven, integrated within existing systems and resources, and economically sustainable. This study evaluates the feasibility and acceptability of this novel joint co-design process in resource-constrained African contexts, creating concrete evidence establishing human-centred design and multi-stakeholder co-design as a replicable methodology for culturally grounded, system-ready CPC interventions globally.
