Hope4Kids
In progress 2025–2029 · Princes Maxima Centre · Netherlands
The overall aim of HOPE4Kids is to bring together relevant actors from across Member States and countries associated to the EU4Health programme to advance PPC in paediatric oncology. The action will coordinate approaches for PPC at European-level, support the upscaling of successful PPC initiatives, strengthen collaboration and exchange of best practices, and improve information resources and supports available to parents and other informal caregivers. Activities across the action cover a Landscape Analysis of PPC in Europe, Guideline development, Pilots and Education & Training, focusing on six cross-cutting themes: Symptoms Treatment, Advance Care Planning, Shared-Decision Making, Psychosocial care, Pre-Loss and Bereavement Care and Models of Care. To maximise the impact of HOPE4Kids on PPC in Europe, the action also includes activities to identify and maximise synergies with other PPC initiatives, disseminate results widely to key stakeholders and ensure sustainability of the action outputs.
Studies are described by the teams running them. ICPCN checks entries for relevance before listing them, but does not verify or endorse the research itself.
