Maryam Rassouli is a Full Professor at the School of Nursing, College of Health Sciences, University of Nizwa, Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman, and a former professor at Cancer Research Center, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBMU), Tehran, Iran. She has supervised or co-advised over 150 PhD and Master’s theses since 2012. Her research contributions include being the corresponding author and co-author of more than 300 articles in peer-reviewed journals, as evidenced by her [Google Scholar profile](https://scholar.google.com/citations?view_op=list_works&hl=en&user=sAcpuiwAAAAJ) and [Scopus account](https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.uri?authorId=55763387000). Most of these publications are in the field of palliative care, including psychological and spiritual aspects of cancer care, and development models and service packages for the provision of such services at national and regional levels. Additionally, she serves as an associate editor for Seminars in Oncology Nursing and the International Journal of Cancer Management, and she is an editorial board member of several journals, including the Asia Pacific Journal of Oncology Nursing. Her administrative experience includes roles such as Director General of Nursing Services at the Iranian Ministry of Health & Medical Education (MoHME) and member of the National Nursing Educational Board.
