Dr Madri Jansen van Rensburg is a South African research and consulting psychologist whose Christian beliefs shape her commitment to compassionate, inclusive and service-centred practice. Her academic background spans anatomy, psychology, consulting psychology, theology and visual art therapy, including doctorates in Psychology and Consulting Psychology, a BTh Honours from the South African Theological Seminary, and postgraduate training in Art Therapy at the University of Johannesburg. Drawing these disciplines together, she uses creative, participatory and systems-based approaches to support resilience, wellbeing and meaningful change in individuals and communities, with particular interest in art therapy within healthcare and palliative-care settings.
