Sessions, peer support, and where to find everyone
The part of the hub that is other people. Works-in-progress sessions where you present something half-finished and leave with it improved, skills webinars, one-to-one support from researchers who have been where you are, and a WhatsApp community for everything in between. All times shown in your time zone. Nothing here needs an account except adding your own.

A few hundred people doing children's palliative care research in every WHO region, in one group. It is where the questions go that aren't worth an email but would cost you a week alone.
- Ask anything. “Has anyone got an ethics application for a study like this?” usually gets an answer the same day.
- In search of. Looking for a collaborator in another region, a validated tool in your language, or someone who has published in your journal.
- What's coming. Session dates and calls for abstracts land here first.
- Quiet is fine. Most people read far more than they post, and nobody minds. A handful of messages on a busy day, not hundreds.

Someone to ask
Most research questions are answered faster by one person who has done it than by any amount of reading. That is open to everyone here, whatever stage you are at: a professor stuck on an unfamiliar method needs it as much as a first-year doctoral student, and the people offering are often both at once.
One to one
Researchers across the network say whether they're open to mentoring or collaboration. Message them through the hub; their address stays private and yours is shared only so they can reply.
In a small group
Peer-support sessions are deliberately low-pressure: bring a half-formed idea, a protocol you're stuck on, or a question you'd rather not ask in a big webinar. No one presents slides unless they want to.
Right now
For anything that fits in a message, the WhatsApp community is quicker than all of the above, and new to research is a perfectly good reason to post.
Present your work in progress
Sessions are shaped by the community: put yourself forward and the ICPCN team will help you find a slot. You do not need finished results — half-finished is the point. Recordings of past talks live in the talks library.
Sign in to put yourself forward. Works-in-progress sessions are a friendly place to present at any stage.
Know an event we should list?
Conferences, courses and webinars run by other organisations are welcome on this calendar — that is most of what is happening in the field. ICPCN checks each suggestion and lists it clearly marked as run by someone else.
